Detailed Day Wise Itinerary
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi by flight, Meeting & Assistance at the Airport, Transfer to Hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi - Bikaner by overnight train.
Train 12457 ETD 2335hrs. ETA 0740hrs.
Morning after breakfast sightseeing, visit Raj Ghat the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, President’s house and the Secretariat buildings, India Gate – The War Memorial, Qutub Minar. Evening transfer to Old Delhi Railway station for Train to Bikaner. Overnight at Train
Day 03 : Arrive Bikaner
Morning arrive Bikaner transfer to Hotel, Later sightseeing. visit the Junagarh Fort which was contracted between 1588 and 1593 by a general in the army of the Mughal Emperor, Akbar. The fort has a 986m long wall with 37 bastions and two entrances; later drive to Jaisalmer, After Junagarh Fort meet Snake Charmers, take pictures, Evening free , overnight at Hotel
Day 04 : Bikaner – Deshnok – Jaisalmer
Morning after breakfast visit The Rat Temple at Deshnok –is also called ‘Karni Mata’, named after a woman, who was born in the 14th century. She was an incarnation of Durga, the goddess of power and victory. During her lifetime she performed many miracle. It is regarded auspicious, if a rat (kaba) runs across one’s feet. Even, a glimpse of kaba (white rat) is considered promising and fruitful. Twice a year, a festival is celebrated in the honor of Karni Mata. A grand fair is organized during this time and people come here to seek the blessings of the Goddess. Later continues drive to Jaisalmer, Arrive Jaisalmer transfer & overnight at Hotel.
Day 05 : Jaisalmer
Morning After breakfast, city tour of Jaisalmer. visit the citadel – the Fort built by Rawal Jaisal where a fourth of the population lives. The fort also houses Jain temples of the 12th to 15th centuries, Patwon Ki Haveli – a five storey mansion with carved pillars & murals of Salim Singh. Also visit Gadsisar, which had once supplied water to the city ; the temples & archways around it have been built by a courtesan.
Morning After breakfast, city tour of Jaisalmer. visit the the citadel – the Fort built by Rawal Jaisal where a fourth of the population lives. If you wish can take, excursion to Sam – 45 km away, is known for its sand dunes & is the venue for the Desert festival. Get the actual feel of the desert by Enjoying a Camel Ride at Sunset Point on the sand dunes and witness a magnificent sunset on the sand dunes. Return to Jaisalmer, overnight at Hotel.
Day 06: Jaisalmer – SamDunes
Morning after breakfast excursion to Sam – 45 km away, is known for its sand dunes & is the venue and get the actual feel of the desert by enjoying a camel ride on the sand dunes and witness a magnificent sunset on the sand dunes. Overnight at Tent/Hotel
Day 07: Jaisalmer - Sam Dunes – Rohet
Morning after breakfast drive to Rohet - Rohet Garh is situated on the banks of a lake in Rohet village. The residence of the rulers of Rohet is now turned up into a heritage hotel offers peaceful & soothing stay. Rohetgarh is beautifully restored & landscaped with colorful flowers & rare plants & trees. It is indeed a perfect place for nature lovers, honeymooners & horse riders. Arrive Rohet transfer to Hotel.
Day 08: Rohet – Udaipur.
Morning free, later drive to Udaipur, arrive Udaipur transfer & overnight at Hotel.
Day 09: Udaipur – Jaipur by overnight Train
Train 19666 ETD 2220hrs. ETA 0600hrs. next morning,
Morning after breakfast visit the romantic city of Udaipur. visit the City Palace which is the largestpalace complex in Rajasthan; Jagdish temple, a fine Indo Aryan temple built in 1651; Sahelion ki Bari or Garden of the Maids of Honour, which is a small garden with its fountains, kiosks, marble elephants & lotus pool. In the evening, boat ride on Lake Pichola. Overnight at Train.
Day 10: Jaipur
Morning arrive Jaipur Railway station pick –up & transfer to Hotel, Later visit to Amber Fort, the ancient Capital of the state until 1728. Enjoy the Elephant Ride up to the hill on which the Fort is situated. Visit the Jagmandir or the hall of victory, Jaimahal (Look at the beautiful mirror work and intricate inlay work) After visit the Amber Fort – just come down you see / found local Snake Charmers, enjoy the same,
Later city tour of Jaipur. visit the City Palace which has museum having an extensive collection of art, carpets, enamel ware and weapons; Jantar Mantar - the observatory built my Maharaja Jai Singh in 1728 and the façade of Hawa Mahal. Overnight at Hotel
Day 11: Jaipur
Morning after breakfast free for independent activities - Free day and overnight at hotel.
Day 12: Jaipur – Ranthambore
Morning after breakfast drive Ranthambore - Located at the junction of the Aravalli and Vindhya hill range, this is one of the finest places to view animals, arrive Ranthambore check in Resort. Evening free. Overnight at Hotel
Day 13: Ranthambore
Morning enjoy the Jungle Safar at Ranthabore national park to see the tiger. Later in the noon once again set out in the national park. Overnight at Resort.
Day 14: Ranthambore – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra
Early Morning drive to Agra. En-route visit the deserted city at Fatehpur Sikri(40 KMS from Agra) built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned it just after 15 years due to the scarcity of water. Visit the graceful buildings – The punch Mahal, Anup Talab,Diwan-e- Khas, Tomb of the holy saint Salim Chisti,Buland Darwaza and other important palaces where one experiences not only the Architectural brilliance but also its perfect fusion.
Continue drive, Arrive Agra and visit the world famous Mausoleum – The Taj Mahal An unique epitome of Love built by Moghul Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. A Sahajahan”s drop of tear on the cheek of Time that has now crystallized, the Taj began in 1631 and was not completed until 1653, arrive Agra transfer & overnight at Hotel
Day 15: Agra – Delhi
Morning after breakfast visit the world famous Mausoleum – The Taj Mahal An unique epitome of Love built by Moghul Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. A Sahajahan”s drop of tear on the cheek of Time that has now crystallized, the Taj began in 1631 and was not completed until 1653. Later visit Red fort, which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565, and additions were made up until the time of his grandson, Shah Jahan. It contains the hall of public and private audiences amongst many other beautiful structues; Itmad-ud-daulah, which was contructed by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628 and is very similar to the tomb she constructed for her husband, Jehangir, near Lahore in Pakistan. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 16: Delhi – Departure.
Morning after breakfast visit sightseeing tour of Sahajahanabad, now known as Old Delhi. Jama Musjid - the largest mosque of India, Red Fort, Old Delhi Bazaar walk and Rickshaw ride at Chandni chowk etc and later evening transfer to airport for Flight to home country.
