Day 01

Airport to Kandy. (Approx. travel time : 2hrs 30min; 132Km)

On arrival welcome by a Sunway Holidays representative and transfer to hotel in Kandy.

En route visits to see the popular Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Set up in 1975, you can witness and admire the wild elephants in their natural environs. Originally established with the aim of providing care and protection to orphaned elephants, this orphanage has now turned into a major tourist attraction. The various daily aspects can be viewed here, like bottle feeding baby elephants, feeding other elephants, bathing them, and so on. Afterward visit a spice garden at Mawanella. See how the different spices grown and processed in Sri Lanka.

Day 02

After Breakfast leave to visit the Royal Botanical Gardens what Peradeniya is most famous for. One of the most beautiful botanical gardens in Asia, this tourist attraction was built by King Wickramabahu III in 1371. Located on the slopes of Mahaweli River, it is renowned for its wide collection of orchids, spices, medicinal plants, and palm trees.

Afterwards Ride to Kandy and be fascinated by the popular destinations of the hill capital of Sri Lanka. Visit the Gem Museum, Art & Craft center and some silk shops. The Kandy Lake, and Kandy town and bazaar are some interesting places to see.

Evening, in Kandy, visit the temple of the tooth relic, for a POOJA CERAMONY, followed by a show of cultural dance performances as a free visit from Spark Destinations.

Day 03

After breakfast leave to Nuwara Eliya. (Approx. travel time : 2hrs 30min; 78Km)

Afterwards proceed to Nuwara Eliya. It’s known as “Little England”. En route see the mountains covered with tea bushes, cascading waterfalls and a tea plantation and a tea factory. Where the best tea in the world is produced. Watch the tea pluckers pick two leaves and a bud with deft hands. Then to the factory where the all-important conversion to “made” black tea happens. The machinery used is of very traditional British design, some as old as 100 years. The process is a very artisanal one, unchanged for a century. Observe the process of manufacturing tea, tea grading and taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea.

In the evening visit Nuwara Eliya town with the busy local market, 18 holes golf ground, Racecourse ground and the famous Gregory Lake.

Day 04

 After breakfast leave for Colombo. (Approximately transfer time : 5hrs; 176Km)

Travel through a beautiful landscape & see the widest waterfall of Sri Lanka, “St. Clair”. And the Devon Waterfall. Enjoy the rich nature.

In Colombo enjoy sightseeing & shopping tour in Colombo, which includes Gangarama Temple, Fort, Pettah, Sea Street, Galle face green, Old Parliament, and the Town Hall etc. Discover the city & explore the shopping malls, such as House of Fashion, Odel etc.
